Our Homegrown Story
We know something about making home wherever you're planted.
We're Misha, Arie and Sophia—a mother-and-daughters family shaped by faith, love, loss, laughter and more than a few new beginnings.
Nearly ten years ago, our family sold our home and invested in a vision we believed could help others: creating the 180 Your Life grief-resilience books and videos and helping launch what would become Widow Strong. We believed something meaningful could grow from what our family had walked through. It did.
Since then, we've watched Widow Strong grow into a community of hope and healing for widows and their children. Along the way, our own family discovered something, too: home is about far more than an address. It's what you create, nurture and grow together.
Homegrown is our next chapter. It's a place to share the things that have made our own lives richer—family traditions, beautiful and useful finds, healthy living, hospitality, faith, generosity and simple moments worth celebrating.
The Homegrown Homestead Vision

Since selling our home, we've lived a grand adventure. And as Homegrown grows, we're dreaming about what we might grow next: a farm-to-table homestead our family can call our own—a place to put down roots, grow good food, gather around the table, celebrate traditions, and welcome others.
Over time, we hope that home can grow into something even more: a beautiful retreat and gathering place where widows and women's groups can come to rest, reconnect, learn, celebrate, and be renewed.
For us, Homegrown is about creating a place where faith, family, hospitality, wellness, and purpose can grow together.
